Nice shading on the Tanks skins.
The lighting on the tank is awesome.
Oh Louis with his pills
Pills here and Bill's there. From Louis' point of view. Fantastic lighting as always. Make a tutorial NAOOOOOOO.
Awesome, but what the hell is Francis doing? Is the infected his bud?
Awesome, but what the hell is Francis doing? Is the infected his bud?
He's grabbing him by the neck, while the infected is struggling to get at him.
He's grabbing him by the neck, while the infected is struggling to get at him.
Ah I see. Or I didn't, but now I know.
Ah I see. Or I didn't, but now I know.
Heh, no problems! :D Thanks for comments so far boys and gals.
How many lights/Lamps did you use in this by the way?
How many lights/Lamps did you use in this by the way?
Lights, possibly 4 or 5. Lamps....god maybe, 15. Maybe more.
I like the muzzleflashes a lot!
Lights, possibly 4 or 5. Lamps....god maybe, 15. Maybe more.
What the fuck. Doesn't using more than three lamps fuck up all the shadows?
What the fuck. Doesn't using more than three lamps fuck up all the shadows?
It can in some situations, yeah. But if you take your time and position the lamps really carefully, it can turn out okay. By the end of this pose, I really was stretching the limits on lamps. And my comp was lagging a lot.
My comp would have died of the temperature overload when I would have been placing the third lamp.
Thats gotta hurt.
Ha ha, Louis the Useless seems to getting ready to yell: Pills here!
"Throwing his fist" I'd like to see a tank rip his own arm off and send it spinning into a survivor.
"Throwing his fist" I'd like to see a tank rip his own arm off and send it spinning into a survivor.
Well, I wasn't being literal....but that would be cool, and unexpected.
Oh no, I spent too long on this for it to go down that easily.
Oh no, I spent too long on this for it to go down that easily.
Happens, get used to it. Amazing shism.
I can't help but notice just how bored and distracted they all seem to be by the fact that this hulking fucking slimy mutant monster that looks like it could rip out your spine through your eye socket is attacking their friend. Also the posing on said monster isn't quite right. The leading arm (stage right) is doing nothing, where the arm that's punching (stage left) should be the one that's leading. Also when posing people or anything bipedal, the leading arm/shoulder and leading leg will always be opposite. Bill's posing is weird as well, since he is being pushed backwards, although his arm is moving backwards/downwards, suggesting that he is being pulled. Due to inertia his arms would be straight forward. Zoey's gunposing looks weird as well with her body being all twisted and the buttstock is resting on the clavicle, the most commonly broken bone in the body. The lighting is also kind of weird and spastic. Zoey and the background zombys are being lit from a low angle but everything else is being lit drastically from above. Also the shadow on the monster's punching arm looks out of place and the light from the white hot muzzle flashes seems too dim. It looks good but yeah small inconsistencies
The only part of your criticism that I'd disagree with RMS13, is the lighting. The zombehs in the background are being lit by a different light source compared to the characters in the foreground. And I don't think they are being lit drastically from above cause I didn't place the lamps above them. Pretty sure I placed them on a similar angle, though it could have been slightly more elevated. But thanks for the detailed criticism! :buddy:
Original. :v:
