Something about that arm looks gross and broken. It doesn't look natural or possible.

Thanks for the explanation, but it doesn't change much if you don't look into either fixing it or using a different model. You can't just make something and put it out there with an explanation for why it's not good, at some point you're going to have to learn to withhold stuff that isn't good and only put out the best of the best work you have. My only other criticism is making the person stand out more about the background as certain parts blend together too much. I think you are on the right path, though, with composition and concept.

In the second pic the arm seems perfectly fine.
