Your original has more detail. Slap some sharpness in the middle, increase contrast, and sprinkle it with film grain fairy dust and it'll look better.

what the picture needs is depth, perhaps with the addition of a few more orcs behind the foreground ones and fiery dust among all of them to make their silhouettes pop out.

Objectively false. Same for chromatic aberration. Anything that actively induces eye strain actually causes your eye to veer off it, meaning all that detail lighting and contrast you worked in is literally being ignored.
