I love these old school mixes with the partially visible geometry.

They look to me as possible simulations of paths. Did you like throw them in slow motion and then just take a picture of them every second?

yeah I was hoping to invoke a sense of fluidity and motion - i was inspired by a lot of renaissance (?) paintings where bodies are made in such a way where they seem to glide naturally over the environment. simulation of possible paths is an accurate statement as well.
I don't really try to focus posing too much on my work anymore; I decided to turn gravity off for the ragdolls, nudge the ragdolls with my physgun, let them take on a more natural pose, freeze them, then incorporate them into one composition.
really it's just like 6-10 ragdolls that I manipulated then duplicated in Photoshop -- the second picture is a more accurate representation of how many ragdolls I actually used.
that idea could definitely be achieved with the method i just described
