Really neat. Not sure why their crotch thingies glow.
Awesome, digging the angle and colors.
Perfect colors and atmosphere, love it!
Brilliant image. But why are the guys covered in LEDs?
Other than aesthetic reasons I believe the lights are stuff powered by this thing called Thermal Energy that's a alternative power source in Lost Planet. So Thermal Energy powered goggles, masks and underpants.
Well I did do a version with the clarity turned up a bunch but I think it takes away a tiny bit from the dusty feel. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/255920778/Posters/waysiders_clarity_up.jpg[/t]

I reckon it's incredible, man. It (in my opinion), really captures the unique aesthetic and atmosphere Lost Planet 2 brought with it.
i wish i could do these kinds of pictures. or scenebuilds shit. im not skilled enough.
Hey we all got to start somewhere, just give it a shot.
Hey we all got to start somewhere, just give it a shot.
I will definitally, but im the type of person that... needs starters. Not sure if you understand that. But like, I need pointers. Like you gotta tell me what tools to use and how to use them. Its been a problem in my life for a long time. Excellent photos
I would recommend acquiring Photoshop CC with the google nik collection plugin (they're some really useful filters). When it comes to the actual posing and scenebuilding really I find it's best to just look at some good pictures/art and try and replicate them. Scenebuilding is all trickery with the angles by the way, you don't actually have to scenebuild a entire landscape. Like this is what the scenebuild for the main pose actually looks like;

Like... Where do you get the mesh for the ground and rocks? and what map is that? I'd love to do something like this!
It's a sfm map called scenebuild_hugevoid. [editline]15th September 2016[/editline] The rocks are from old mass effect pack kali made called "turian defenses" and the ground mesh is norpos ground prop.
This is one of my favorites by you. The atmosphere is great and you just really nailed the LP2 feel.
