It had taken us three days, three days of endless strife and hardships, but now, waiting to greet us with a cold manufactured grin, was Pripyat. The early morning light bathed the derelict towers in a warm yellow, giving the plants that sought to engulf the concrete plenty of room to thrive. Alexi scoured the landscape with the scope of his SVU whilst Pavel motioned for me to carry on walking, despite the agony I felt in my feet, "not long now, the hospital should be a few clicks north of here, I'm sure of it" he exclaimed under his breath. I knew, deep down, he was wrong...
and then they all died from monolith snipers
glory to the monolith
I'm more worried about the psychedelic ass birds circling them
Dammit.
I was expecting something related to Predator.
It's pretty good, you could add vines growing on top of the buildings or crawling along the sides.
if only the fog didnt cutoff between the buildings and the sky like that
I still wanted the skyscrapers to be visible, adds that sense of foreboding knowing that the three adventurers have merely scratched the surface.
The sky scrapers can still be very much visible, it's just that brightness levels of the sky and buildings are incorrect. In your picture the sky (or is that smoke? :v) visible through the clouds is darker than the buildings and unless they are extremely lit that should never be the case. Unlit structures under sky light are always supposed to be darker than the sky and clouds above, and their textures should always be visible, their blacks should be lighter though due to the atmosphere's light. Also the clouds are a bit over-exposed imo, too white

This is how it should look
Cheers, I can use this as a reference for future pic
