• Need some variables edited for a day/night cycle script

Basically I need these variables edited for a small script, I've been at it for a while and can't put my finger on it. [lua]// variables. local DAY_LENGTH = 120 * 24; // 24 hours local DAY_START = 5 * 120; // 5:00am local DAY_END = 18.5 * 120; // 6:30pm local DAWN = ( DAY_LENGTH / 4 ); local DAWN_START = DAWN - 244; local DAWN_END = DAWN + 244; local NOON = DAY_LENGTH / 2; local DUSK = DAWN * 3; local DUSK_START = DUSK - 244; local DUSK_END = DUSK + 244; local LIGHT_LOW = string.byte( 'a' ); local LIGHT_HIGH = string.byte( 'z' ); [/lua] I'd like an entire cycle to last 6 hours. Thank you [editline]12th March 2011[/editline] The map and full script are found here. [url]http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1061081-RP_Evocity_v17x[/url]
You don't need to edit those variables, you need to set the console variable, daytime_speed to something, not edit the other values. If I remember right an old thread about this said setting daytime_speed to 60 is a real day, 24 hours, and 6 hours is a quarter of a day try setting it to 15 and see how long your day takes.
