OK, so I just finished my high-school and I'm taking a stop year before starting with Uni..
I have lots of time now and I really would like to learn to code in LUA for gMod, and maybe even other stuff...
I know there is a wiki, but do you sugest other pages for this?
Are there some easy beginner excercises to practice with?
you can do like me, download a SWEP (weapon for gmod) then look up the LUA file. Open with notepad
and change some values and watch it behave differently xD
its very funny to play around with
As always (there's 4 threads of this every day) I recommend you use Notepad++ with the Gmod Lua syntax plugin to do your coding, it makes it much much easier.
