• Velocity and Force

What's the difference?
Force acts on an object and causes it to accelerate. Gravity, for example, is a force. If you jump off a building, gravity acts on you and causes you to accelerate. But as you fall, the air will be pushing you back, so air resistance is also a force. In GMod, thrusters apply force to make the contraption move. Velocity is just how fast something's moving and what direction. Notice the difference between this and speed, which is just how fast something's going.
Thanks.
