Lua errors in console for scripts that have perfect syntax - Developers

I have two scripts on I KNOW works the other one I checked with a syntax checker and it worked fine, im getting the same error for both: :1: "=" expected after '<I forgot what was hear, I will insert it later>' please note that "I forgot what was hear, I will insert it later" is not part of the error (it is just a placeholder) Note: i just installed stargate svn could that have anything to do with it? Edit: it doesnt do it when I am at the menu wich is wered... Anyhow here is the console dump: :1: '=' expected near '<eof>'

We can't do jack shit unless you give us the WHOLE error by copying it from the console and pasting it here, and the WHOLE of the file mentioned in the error or at least all of the related code.

Just post the damn script. We can't help you if you're going to be stingy. Chances are, nobody even wants your script.

Don't forget Garry's Mod uses an unique implementation of Lua so a regular syntax checker might let some things skip by.

We can't debug a code that huge without being very familiar with it to begin with. Presumably the original code was working at first. Unless you can post the specific bits you changed to bugger it up you're on your own.
