• Problems with Episode Two Particles

Hello. I've seen several with this problem, though none of the threads really cover a true way to fix this problem. I was hoping someone here has had this problem and was able to fix it. I'm fixing up and making additions to an entity that was coded in 2009, everything works with it fine ,the code is not the problem. I added some particles to it, an advisorpod smoke particle. At first, it wasn't working. I did a few things, remounted the game, and it starting working fine. I put my computer to sleep for the night, and when waking it, I found once more that the particle I was calling was unknown like it was before. It is like this with all EP2 particles. Things I have tried: -Verified both game caches of gmod and ep2 -reinstalled both games -mounted and dismounted EP2 several times -checked the code to make sure the particle name was correct Attemped to precache unknown particle system "Advisor_Pod_Explosion_Smoke_2"! Attempting to create unknown particle system 'Advisor_Pod_Explosion_Smoke_2' Any and all help will be appreciated. This is impeding my progress, and pushing the launch date of the server its for further back.

Or you know, actually fix it by loading the .pcf that has that particle effect using [url]http://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/game/AddParticles[/url] instead of using workarounds.
