Can you include font files in Workshop addons now?

As the title says. I want to include a custom font in my addon but I know a while back this was not allowed. Has anything changed? It's a .ttf it that changes anything.

afaik no, fastdl still required.

You are allowed to add font files but they are currently not being mounted properly, so you cannot use them. I've been bugging Robotboy655 about this for 6 months and he said he'd look into why they are not being mounted; nothing has come of it though.

Well that sucks. Guess I'll have to use a default system font.
