Hey, so 1 dick at 1 server, deleted all my lua files that i kept in /data/, but they were run on me and i thought, can you somehow restore them from cache/lua? Or is that from something else?
Thanks.
you cant write lua files inside the /data/ folder, lol. You can only restore client Lua from the cache folder, but you need an tool to make it readable, which (I think) Handsome Matt if I am right, got on his GitHub page.

Found it, https://github.com/HandsomeMatt/glua-cache-extract
But how do i use it?
1. Why do you have lua files in data? That's for text files.
2. Ehh, kind of. Even if you decrypt them, you still have to sort and figure out what files are which. Also, all you'll have is clientside and shared

1. Im using GCompute, so it can only saves in data, i hate reloading server and all that stuff. I just create on the server the thing and then upload to the server.
2. Im ready to do that.

Theres also an dll which you could inject to download and automaticly sort the files, but then he'd also need the files again :p, I love how my upper post randomly got called "dumb".

GCompute probably doesnt store them in Lua(since its restricted), but in text format, and then reads it as Lua, I guess, and "man with a hat" if you randomly shitrate any post again, I will report you.

It's not random? If you don't know why I think your post is dumb, then that's your problem. I'm not going to fucking explain every rating I give to every person.

Everything I said is actually true, lol. only Client and Shared files are in the cache folder, you are not allowed to write Lua files inside data, GCompute maybe formats them as text and reads them as Lua, the decrypter works etc etc.
Could we stay on the topic? Dont mean to sound rude, but no facepunch drama please.
How do i use the glua cache extracter?

The thread already explains it, download it, run it, select the cached files in the /cache/ folder and set its folder for the decrypted files.

I dont understand how i am supposed to run it when it gives the source code? And that working link asks product code
That link downloaded the file pretty fine for me(LuaDecrypter.zip containing LuaDecrypter.exe).

Did you run the LuaDecrypter? It asks product key.
Jesus I could upload the same decrypter I use(even a newer version) for you.

If it doesn't give you any problems, it would be really great.
