I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post, but I'll do it anyway.
So its december already and I maked a Christmas tab in my pointshop(the one by _undefined).
So a lot of cool Christmas themed hats are tf2 models, is there any way to use it without having it in FastDL?

You could put them all into a workshop file and then have players download the workshop addon?
Yeah ehm... im confused.
I tried to do that and searched for the models, but apparently there are nowhere to be found? If you go into garry's mod sandbox and search for xms you will find a lot of tf2 stuff, but NOWHERE in my steam directory is one of these files :/ can anyone help me?
If you don't already have it, google 'GCFScape' and download that program. Once that's done, head to where you've got Team Fortress 2 installed and find a folder called /tf
In there, you'll find a ton of .vpk files and one of them will be named 'tf2_misc_dir'. Open that up with the program we mentioned and you'll be able to find the models in there. Materials are located inside tf2_textures_dir.
