HELP! Proffesional lua coder needed for Gmod server! - Developers

Hey, me and some friends have a gmod server and we don't want it to be like all other servers with sandbox or dark rp or so.. So we decided to have a zombie co-op server with melonbine's running zombies, and the spawnpoint for them.. (PS: I really need help with the spawnpoint! I put it in the addons folder and then I can't find it in-game!) Now, what I need a lua coder for is that I need someone to help me edit dark rp so there's only the money and weapon buying system. You see, we want you to spawn as a citizen (renamed to Survivor) and then spawn with just a glock and a crowbar. Then we want to erase all other jobs and give TEAM CITIZEN the same rights as TEAM GUN. So, everyone spawn as a TEAM CITIZEN and have all the rights that TEAM GUN have, meaning that they can buy shipments and stuff like that. And if possible, I need help to add all shipments that's already in dark rp as normal guns, so you don't have to buy a shipment to get that gun. Then I want to erase the shipments and add a shipment with a molotov (which I got a download for). All this might seem a little hard, but that's why we need someone that's good with lua. Whenever I try myself it fails... Then I just want to change the model of the Survivor (renamed citizen) to something more realistic, which I also found a download for. Anyone can edit DarkRP.

And, making your own gamemode will give you more experience than being teach and forget it later. So make it yourself and be happy about it.:smile:

So, bascially, you want someone to delete all the classes from DarkRP, rename the remaining class and give it a new model, then make everyone spawn with every available gun and be able to buy shipments of Molotovs? ...I can do that easily I reckon, as long as you don't then ask me to do anything else. I'm going out for a bit, but send me a pm and when I get back, I'll add you to steam, and I'll have it done in no time at all. You never know, this might be one of those ideas that are so completely fucking retarded that they go through and come out the other side as hilarious. :v:

were the spawn point is depends on what one you got. Mine is in tools

admins banning for everything? my doubt is, if every 1 say this is a great idea would he ban him? or he just ban him cuz he hate his idea,etc... for me this is the right area to post this because its about lua, IDK what he did wrong, "wrong forum" just delete the thread and warn him, or move the thread, no need for banning : /.

And so I asked a friend that knows lua a little, and he couldn't do it either.

You're doing it wrong. Take a look at a different money system, edit it, if it doesn't work read the fucking errors and learn. If you can't fix them search them on the internet. If that doesn't help ask here on facepunch. Asking for "need a professional coder", especially for (dark)RP makes you look stupid. And yes, I did read what you wrote, and still I tell you: Fucking DIY. You can't expect some random dude to code something for you just cause you ask for it. And if it's only about the money system, why don't you just do the other stuff yourself? You're not making sense.

Yeah, it's not like there's an entirely separate "Gamemode" forum. Definitely not. If you're just doing small stuff like editing DarkRP, it's worthwhile to learn how to code yourself. Why? A. It's an easy project. You won't have to post five hundred threads in the Newbie Questions section just to edit DarkRP. It's a good place to start. B. Once you start coding, you won't have to ask other people to do it for you.

I tried removing everything except for the vgui and money system, and I tried making the shipments into buyable weapons, then I tried to set TEAM CITIZEN to TEAM GUN and some more stuff.. Whenever I delete something it gives me errors and I can't do anything. I try fix the erros, but that don't work. When I can't do it myself, I turn to facepunch... Whatever I do, I FAIL! B. Yeah, you try learning lua in 1 day.
