Useful Hooks/ functions you have found without proper documentation

I have been going through the gmod wiki now for a while and every now and then i come across entire sections that have no description and no examples on how to use them or what they do.

I have heard "rumors" of hooks that are not even on the wiki.

My question is what are some pretty useful functions that the more experienced coders use often that are not properly documented Please give an example of usage.

I am fairly certain that 100% of the C++ hooks are on the wiki. I am not sure about the Lua ones.

jit & the menu state used to be p undocumented, not anymore
