Hmm...I am very new to the Lua language (I just started tonight XD) and I was wondering:

Could someone please point me in the right direction for a solid guide to Lua? even Lua.org doesn't have anything a newcomer like me could use.

See, I learn best by doing what I am being told how to do - I learn best from tutorials or interactive flash applications etc.

Or, as I have done with Expression 2, reading a wiki, then applying what I just read in some new code.

Does anyone know of any simple Lua tutorials?

Alternatively, could someone post the code for something really simple (I dunno, click then click somewhere else and have it tell you the distance between those two points? Just an idea)? Don't even have to give an explanation, just tell me what it will do in-game.
