• Water(izer) Tool

Hello there, I know people have been angry because they always had to revolve they're props/whatever around the water on a map, so my proposal is for somone to make a tool, that basicly takes whatever prop you feel like, and converts it to having a water texture, and also, to somehow have the phyics(or resembles the physics) of water in a map. Usefulness: For a couple of examples, you could say, make a pool, water slide, bathtub, flood your basement? Anything. The tool should have the option of showing which water texture you can use, and it should also autmaticly have no-collide everything on it. Here are some pictures of what it could be like, the map is freespace06. I used Tile blocks and just added a water texture to resemble it. I support this idea.
For a moment there I thought you were asking for dynamic water, I was wrong. I support this, it would be very useful.
Nice idea, this should be cool
And easy. Someone else talked about this a long time ago. Just add damping to player movement, draw the PPs, and fuck with the gravity a bit, and make it have a nice texture and your done. [editline]02:13PM[/editline] Also nocolide it duh
Do you know anyone who would be willing to take up that little task Bob?
I love this idea, and if anyone is willing to make it, then that'd be awesome! One problem, I'm not sure the source engine would like it... of course I am wrong sometimes.
I'd like to make this, but I have no time to until friday. :frown:
I support this.
What happens if you put it in the water?:aaaaa:

Wow man! That's really great thus far. :D Uhh, there is another water material to use, It was called something like predator, I used it in my images, models/shadertest/predator I'm sure theres many more, But really man, great work and keep going!
That's art
Oh my.. Tyrael you are god.
If it no-collided with everything, props wouldn't float and slide down water, you would fall through it, and not float, so on so forth.

Yes, you can swim! Waterized props are duplicables and can be constrained.
Well done man, well done!!!
