How can I make objects like stickies, rockets, chairs, glow as if they have the crit effect on them?
With the use of TF2 Particles, namely
critgun_weaponmodel_red
and
critgun_weaponmodel_blu
I believe.
I take it I don't just put it into dev console in Gmod, since that didn't work.... Sorry I just got GMod 17 hours ago, so I really have no idea what is going on beyond hitting Q and pushing pretty buttons.

I don't know much about Particles but I think its done with that...
But I suggest looking around in http://wiki.garrysmod.com/?title=Lua before you get too ahead of yourself.
It's called Garry's Mod, not Gmod 17. Lua is a lot bigger than the Developer console. You're getting way ahead of yourself, I'd recommend playing the game for a while to see how it all works, then read this:Link to learn about Lua.

I accidentally rated you dumb instead of bad reading. He said he bought GMod 17 hours ago. As in, he got it 17 hours ago.

You can rerate people to change the rating.
Darn, I was hoping there would be some easy-peasy downloadable plug in. I just need it to take a few quick screen shots. Thanks for the help.
Here's a quick code if you just want some help. Type this into the console in singleplayer:
lua_run ParticleEffect( "critgun_weaponmodel_red", Entity(1):GetEyeTrace().HitPos + Vector(0,0,100), Angle(0,0,0), nil )
It spawns the particle 100 units above where you're looking.
Ah thank you very much, I've been taking a crash course in Lua since last night. Than you very much for your help.
