Does anyone know why parenting props to certain SEnts (e.g. wire arithmetic gates) results in the child props correctly being detectable by traces? This doesn't normally happen when the parent is a prop_physics, as the traces seem to go right through them. So far I can't find a reliable way to tell which SEnts will work and which won't, it's really odd.
Does anyone have any idea? If possible I'd like to try and find a reliable way of making parented props trace correctly using some simple Lua script.
