my request is a fairly simple one: remember the the toggleable hoverball tool from Conna's tools? it, unfortunately no longer works, and I was wondering if someone a bit more talented in lua than I might be so kind as to make a new version of it for us all. While i can't speak for anyone else, all I am really wanting is all of the functionality of the original. if anyone could do this for me, it'd be great.
If you don't hate wire, there's always the wire hoverball.
wire hoverball is not as simple as the one he was talking of.
wire hoverball is not as simple as the one he was talking of.
Yeah, I know. I just mentioned that wire hoverballs are toggleable :P
any idea why the old one's stopped working? is there some fix i can do on them to get them working again? the reason i'm so desperate to get these working again is 'cause of how easy they were, and the wire ones are significantly more complicated. supposing i wanted to substitute wire hoverballs (i'm gonna call them wireballs from here on, mostly due to laziness), how would i get the same functionality out of them? what i'm looking for is that they: >work just like a regular hoverball (maintains altitude, moves up, moves down on keypress) >can be turned on and off >when turned back on again, their target altitude is reset to the altitude they were at when they were turned on any ideas?
Could you try out the tool and paste the Lua errors?
that's the thing.... the other tools in conna's pack can be selected in the menu, cause various lua errors, and generally don't do anything. the only tool i use, the toggleable hover ball tool, appears on the menu, but when i click it, it doesn't actually switch to the tool, sooooo... i'm afraid i can't give you any Lua errors. i can click it in the menu to my heart's content, but it will never switch the toolgun to the tool.
