Where should I begin with learning LUA? I can understand existing code but there is not enough stuff on the current gmod wiki, any sources I should look at? I mostly want to make weapons Also I hope this belongs here. Thanks in advance
You should begin by searching this forum for "How do I code" threads, there were bunch lately.
Read books about lua, best way to learn IMO.

First of all, it's Lua, not LUA.
Second, what do you want to make weapons for? If TTT then just go to [url=http://www.troubleinterroristtown.com/] badking's website [/url] and look at the guide.
