Specifically, placing them into the gate categories after they're made. Is it possible to do this in an addon folder?
More specifically, I want to create custom Arithmetic and Logic gates. In the garrysmod/addons folder, is there a way to make a separate folder that plugs these lua wire gates into the Gate - Arithmetic selection list?
addons\wire\lua\wire\WireGates.lua: that is where you will find where the gates are defined.
though the wire team has not added any sort of way to make custom gates easily, i just asked them if that is in the works
