I don't know how hard this would be, as I have absolutely no experience in LUA, however I hope this is a simple matter.
I am requesting an addon which is preferably client-side that simulates many camera distortion effects.
The best example of these effects would probably be the Star Trek 2009 movie.
A few things im looking for are:
1. Lense flare effects, not just for the sun but for all light sources.
2. Light refraction off the lense, creating artifacts when I have light sources in my field of view.
3. Other effects the coder can come up with that I haven't thought of.

Anyone? I almost certain this can't be that difficult of a task.
I believe that the Lens Flare one is available on Garrysmod.org as a Post Processing effect. Other than that, I don't know. Though there are a lot of good effects on the site of you're willing to go look for it...

You can replicate this effect using the "bloom" post processing option in the toolgun, can't you?
