this is more of a half request, half "does this exist?" post.
I am looking for a camera that is placed out of your head. "thats pointless! you aredy see thorugh your head!" you say. I know, it sounds dumb when you first hear it. but listen to this.
the standard FPS view of gmod uses a picture of a gun and one set of hands holding that gun. you cant really change it. "there's skins for the hands!" i know. but they are still one pair of unchangeable hands that usually dont fit your player model. The effect i am shooting for is the camera inside the player's head, so you see the view of the world model from their head. In other words, this: http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=91287 Why? so that your hands match your player model no matter what. of course, this wont work well for weapons with no world model (ex. sniper rifles or cheap admin weapons that use the pistol firing base for a world model), but most weapons i use are the HL2 weapons, and kermite Sweps, so it'll work out.
this would probably work well as a tool, or something you can bind to a key from the console, or make a numpad key.
I am not able to pay you, but if you like this, ive got the idea and can playtest it.
I am not trying to be mean here but that is a stupid idea to be frank, if you have ever actually looked at a World model they are the difference between HL1 weapons and HL2 weapons. On some of them the iron sights are completely gone, not to mention that doing this would completely ruin Ironsights in the first place because theres no physical raising of the Ironsights to eye level from a world prospective. You obviously care that much about looks so I don't think thats what you want to do. So instead I suggest Requesting The Skin changer STOOL put to concept for the v_model hands, I'm not even sure if that is possible but its worth a shot to request.
Also, stop assuming what I am thinking...Because you were wrong everytime.
