GMPublish help. - Developers

So I was using the v1.0 workshopper tool but it just refuse to compress this compilation of vehicle skins I'd combined. After building an addon via the newer tools "gmpublish/gmad" only I'm again running into an error that I cannot seem to get past. Don't you think 500MB is an overkill?

There is no way it was only 9MB compressed. I compressed 299MB and it compressed to 52ish You have to compress >300mb or else you'll get the compression failed :( Did you get plagued by the Error 16 crap too?

You are trying to compress kinda too much I would say.

Yeah, but I need it for my server and I can't compress it because I didn't make the map... as I said before its not on the workshop and its needed for my server. Is there a way to make it smaller? --Edit-- Is it possible to use BZIP2 the map to compress it before doing this?
