Hello everyone.
I know there's a list of TF2 and HL2 sounds on the old wiki, however I was unable to find lists of CounterStrike Source sounds and Garry's Mod sounds. Also those lists are out of date.
So I made a list here- [url]http://badgercode.co.uk/sounds.php[/url] which has all the sounds from all those games, sorted and groups by directories.
It's a little ugly now, but I'm working on making it look nicer.
All the sounds are safe to copy and use in scripts or commands.
If you want the source file for all the sounds, it's formatted in a PHP array and can be found here- [url]http://badgercode.co.uk/sounds.txt[/url]
If people want any other source games added, I can do that.
The list will update automatically as I update my copies of the source games.
Sorry if I've done something wrong, I haven't used the forums much.
Or you know, you can get this mod: [url]http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=104603291[/url] and do everything in game with previews and everything.
That works too, however as basic as this is, it means I can have half my screen for the list page, the other half for notepad++, and just copy over the paths to files I already know what they sound like.
