Many people are like "Arhh, DO NOT use NWVars"
Of course, it's bad in a huge amount.
But what does actually make NWVars bad?
Is it the amount of NWVars you create, or the update rate you update the var?
In a way, could I make hugeloads of vars if they just changed once in a very rare while. And players wouldnt notice anything?
Or would they notice when I make a tick hook, and update a random value on them?
Just out of curiousity..
Don't use alot of them and don't set them every tick. You'll be fine.
Don't network things that don't need to be networked, it's just wasteful and bad practice
They aren't really that bad, it's just that there is a lot of networking going on to make sure that ever player has the same value, so avoid them as much as possible, but if you only have 1 or 2 it's not really that big of a deal.
Afaik they are associated with buffer overflows etc.

any amount of excessive networking would do that
