• Is there a way to slow down weapon switching?

I'm trying to modify an "unarmed" weapon so to prevent players to pull out a gun at you without giving you an early warning. Basically i would like to modify this swep so that when someone had this weapon out and change to another, it isn't instantaneous and basically "show" to the other players that you are pulling a gun out. ideally it should take about one or two seconds so you can't take your aim and quickswitch , headshot, quickswitch. I thought about simply, changing all my sweps so they have a built in delay before firing when initialized , but i wonder if there is a more "elegant" way to do it.
This would be very interesting and useful.
That could work... the essential for me is that if a player that looks harmless pull out a weapon every other players around that have a weapon out can shoot him dead before he has the opportunity to shoot. Yes changing the weapon offset could be nice, so if you switch weapon your weapon doesn't rise up immediately. So i assume from the outside the player will look like if he is ready to fire right? is there some way i could trigger a playermodel animation that clearly shows "this player is fumbling to pull out his gun" because how it is right now it's going to look like "this player is ready to shoot".
Yeah, that would be REALLY useful. So the gun needs to Rise up from your side slowly, rather than just pointing at the person, so it looks like he can shoot when he can't.
I have a feeling this could translate very well into a Western RP. Quick draw anyone? :D
I made a holstering system with an older version of my insurgency sweps. Im guessing thats what you need.
