So I'm sort of new to lua scripting and I'm interested in learning more about lua particularly in gmod. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should move onto next that wouldn't be to hard? I've done things with derma like creating huds and menus. I'm looking for something to make that's is on the easier side of coding. Any suggestions are helpful! Thanks!

So, you only tried clientside. Try the net library, console commands to make client+server connection. You can just check the official wiki for something new.
