What program is used in Lua for Gmod 10? Is it Notepad++? Because I went to plugins and I found Gmod Lua on that instead. I didn't have to download that highlighter plugin. But are they the same? And if I do need those to make my text easier and stuff, please tell me how to install it. :D
Theres no program, its all text. But most use Notepad++ with the syntax highlight plugin thats floating around
But, then, why for the lua there is it all color-coded? Is that to help us? If so, that must take long to color code. But how do you install the plugin for syntax highlighter?
The "color coding" is syntax highlighting, it is automaticly done by notepad++ when it recognizes a function from Garry's Mod.
Its not done auto, you need to download the plugin. check notepad++'s plugins page

Notepad++ requires a plugin to highlight Lua. The distribution from Soureforge comes with the plugin.

To get the plugin for Gmod Lua, you just go to plugin manager, and look at available plugins, and download it.
