Hello internet! I'm terribly new at LUA in general, but I was wondering if one of you would oblige a request. Our server is combat-oriented - often we will build small bases on small maps and try to invade the other 'teams' base and steal a small prop (The team fortress 2 'present' gib) to win. However, I'd like to convert this to a SWEP or Entity - a flag/present that can't be fired or used in any way, but the carrier also can't use any weapons while carrying it. (or if they switch they drop it or something) Is this at all possible? Is it possible to slow the player who is carrying it? Prevent certain players or teams from picking the flag/present up? Thank you for reading this, regardless of the outcome.
That's all perfectly possible, the only obstacle being the need of a flag model the characters can carry.
If we could make it a SWEP, you could just use a SWEP spawner entity in the bases. I'm on it.

Every time I post in the requests board I feel like a jerk >_>
