Alright, so I'm facing this problem right now and I have no idea what to do. People are telling me it's my hoster that is causing the issue, but it doesn't seem like that's the case. My problem is that when I enter the "server.cfg" file and attempt to change the map with the command "map 'name here'," the server gives me an error message when I attempt to connect, the error message is "Disconnect: Server shutting down." I tried switching the gamemodes to see if "terrortown" was the problem, but I even retrieved that message for sandbox. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.
You should change map in the server startup parameters and not in cfg
