Hey, i cant seem to override any of the original gcf's content.. (example the hd watermelon) it just doesnt override the original hl2 watermelon material. It used a while back, but now it doesnt, this also applies to anything else like sounds/models and so on.. I put it in the correct directories, but it doesnt override the ones that are in gcf's. So.. why the heck?
All I know is that that if you put them in an addon it won't override, perhaps this is the case?

I know this, it worked some time ago, just now i noticed that it doesnt anymore, files are scatered in the correct directories, not in addons. It should override the default content(the one thats in gcf's) but it doesnt.
