Hey guys, just a quick question. Why is it that the Combine are always going after me when I have a squad of citizens firing at them? I mean, he's oftentimes completely surrounded by the citizens but he's still going after me as if I really pissed him off or something. Anyone know of something I can download to fix the combine AI? Thanks.
Not a Lua problem, not a problem at all, they always go after you, you're top priority.

I would've thought that the Combine would try to kill their biggest threats first, in this case the rebels(or whatever) who are shooting at them.

Player is always top priority, if the player is not in sight it will go for other enemies, if all enemies disappear then they search for about 5 seconds and go back to idle. - Repeat when enemy comes back into sight.

Yea, they aren't always supposed to go after me...at least according to their AI in the HL games.
Maybe they see you as a bigger threat in gmod with all the SWEP spawning and remover tooling:3:
