How would you make it so if someone is watching a TV screen that's streaming a render camera over someone not clip out doors / players / props?
If you guy's need more info on what exactly i'm talking about just leave a comment asking for more info. Thanks
Could you provide a little more detail? I don't understand what you're asking.
He's asking for some raytracing to not render videos if the player isn't even watching.

Ok, So i have a little system that allows a player to buy a TV and on the screen of the TV is material that draws what RC Cams use. and then i have placed a rc cam to follow a player that is a certain job.
So when players look at the TV they bought and they see what the other persons sees. But theres a problem where if the player goes to far away from the TV and when people are looking at the TV watchin the guy, it starts to clip out doors, props, players. how would i make it not clip that out?
I think you were able to fix it by adding them to the player's PVS.

You use that with your gamemode, not console commands.

Ok i just got it working .. but the problems still there...
it still clips out doors / props
Check to see if the tv material that you're using to apply the stream on top of has the vmt property $ignorez. If it does, comment it out and see if it's fixed.
