Hi, it has been my goal for a long time to put a radio on my server, that plays full length music like an actual radio station, and not have the client download it(you know how long it takes to download sounds, imagine 3 minute files, if they can even download at all) can someone tell me what are possibilities? Maybe have a radio server of some kind, can someone tell me how to set up a radio server and have my gmod server connect to it?
That is a fantastic question, my only concern would be the lag that will create, to steam music to each client attached to the server. I wish I could offer more, but my Lua knowledge is still very limited. How big are each file / what is the bitrate? Can you internet connection handle the extensive bandwidth load?

Use gm_bass , thats how i made my radio ^^
-_- does gm_base include having the sound being downloaded from the actual gmod server, if yes, have a box, but I can read minds so have a box anyways
the only way you're going to do anything is by streaming via http or gm_bass' streaming options.
It wont be the server streaming to clients , cut out the middle man and make the radio server stream dirrectly to stream to clients , this will also cut down on bandwidth usage . It will also allow clients to chose witch station to stream from
I don't see why people rated me dumb? its how PlayX works, GMT Radio works, My radio works , i mean, what else do you want with it? some sort of supa dupa mixing software?
gm_bass is your best option.
