Hey there, I am wondering if anyone could help me create a custom animation to be used on my server? All i need to know is what software and how to animate and also how to make my weapon/player use that animation... What i have is a player-model with a watch on his wrist, I want to make a animation that will run when i open a window in my Gamemode, SO the information is... I have a Gamemode and on key pressed "tab" then a menu will appear, However i delayed it to appear after 5 seconds.. I need an animation so the players left forearm will smoothly move into the screen so it looks like he is staring at his watch... Then after the 5 second delay the menu will appear and it will look like there is a HUD on the players watch. When "tab" is release the menu will instantly disappear and i need the animation to stop... I already have done the menu and delay, I just need the animation , If anyone here could help me create this then i would be more then happy :D Thank you for reading,
You can't really without extremely complex lua which most people aren't willing to do.

Take a look at Elevator: Source. It has a quite good animation of someone looking at the watch.
