[release]The Why: Is your family going on a vacation to an island in the middle of nowhere? Are you afraid of not being able to access your favorite toybox entities when your internet service provider decides to pull the plug on you? Is steam down again? Too lazy to swim through the crap you favorited on toybox to spawn your favorite entity? Russian? Well, have no fear, because you can now load them while offline to Garry's disapproval![/release][release]Features: Some things you might notice off the bat, the entities have no icons! Well, I don't know how to add icons really. Another thing you might notice is a super special feature that I added in that also differentiates from the toybox. If you right click on a weapon spawn icon, a weapon will spawn instead of being given to you! Neat-o, for you people who want ammo. (though this is broken most of the time since toybox weapons weren't designed to be spawned like this.) A great feature purposefully included is bugs, but most of the entities should work. I only remade file reading and had it only able to read gcf files. I suck at making modules so my module is around 6KB bigger than yours. PM me to request a takedown.[/release][release]Downloads: This thing is not yet up for release and may contain major bugs. What I need YOU to do is help me cram out the bugs. If you're a scripter, feel free to run through the code and check for typos or errors that I may have done. If you just want to use it because it works for you, then go ahead. Download (55 KB) Drag and drop the files in this little beast into your "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\[ACCOUNTNAME]\garrysmod\garrysmod" folder. Download Module Source (1 MB)[/release] Arrgh, ye'maties.
I suck at making modules so my module is around 6KB bigger than yours.
Size is not everything! :quagmire: His is missing the VS redistributables and other things probably.
Apparently I can't report a post with a custom reason, but you've posted a binary module without source code.
Apparently I can't report a post with a custom reason, but you've posted a binary module without source code.
I'll remove it for now, thanks. [editline]9th May 2011[/editline] Reuploaded with module source.
Modules work inside a Addons folder now a days.
Apparently I can't report a post with a custom reason, but you've posted a binary module without source code.
wow
Modules work inside a Addons folder now a days.
I remember it working in the addons folder before, I just don't know where.
I remember it working in the addons folder before, I just don't know where.
addons/addonname/lua/includes/modules
Is anyone having any problems with this so far?
Is anyone having any problems with this so far?

addons/addonname/lua/includes/modules
Is this in reference to the files inside of Gm_toyio, or the whole file? Yes, having problems, lol... Getting this message, "error loading module 'toyIO' from file 'c:\program files\steam\steamapps\"username"\garrysmod\garrysmod\lua\includes\modules\gmsv_toyIO.dll':" Thanks for the work and attention to bugs, looking forward to finding out I just having things mis-installed (BTW, I DID check, and the .dll in question is there...)

I think that Source makes you download the Visual C++ redistributable pack, but I don't remember. Is your system 64-bit or 32-bit?

Although i may be wrong, please don't tear me a new asshole, I think his problem is that he didn't restart garrysmod after he installed the module, that seems to be a mistake alot of people make.

He's probably just missing the redistributables.
You don't need to include the ipch and ncb files in your source distributions - they are the intellisense cache.
You don't need to include the ipch and ncb files in your source distributions - they are the intellisense cache.
Thanks man, I'm new to releasing C++ projects and that just cut the project down by 30 mb. I'll keep that in mind.

I cant wait to see if garry reply's... ANOTHER shit-storm anyone?
I cant wait to see if garry reply's... ANOTHER shit-storm anyone?
Don't think garry really cares, this has been out for over a week and no reply from garry yet.
WHAT THE POO IS THIS FOR!
Does it work for online servers?
Size is not everything! :quagmire: His is missing the VS redistributables and other things probably.
First: That's what she said. Secondarily; Exactly. People need to stop worrying about how.. big.. their.. files.. are... Erm, and understand something. Mine Craft is less then twenty MB exe file. It has ten times more game play for its fans, then Call of Duty: Black ops single player, and Modern Ware fare 2.
Having the same trouble he is. I have windows 7 64 bit!!!
Is this in reference to the files inside of Gm_toyio, or the whole file? Yes, having problems, lol...
Do you guys own Garry's Mod?
Yes... Sorry again for late reply, haven't check this thread in a while. I seem to recall you telling me that it was developed on a more advanced system, and may not be backwards compatible. Has this changed?
what should i do with Module Source?
what should i do with Module Source?
Nothing.
what should i do with Module Source?
They put it in so you can read the code and make sure it's not malicious.
Thank you, I love it! By the way, is there a way to spawn the entities from the console?
