I went in and mess around with the paint tool and decided
to show of a flag that i looked up in source SDK.
when i found the directory to the decal i copy the link and just pasted it over the option cross in the paint tool on line 13
when i did i was only able to only see a bullet whole decal but everyone else can see the flag.

so is there a way to get it working for me and everyone else on the server.
does anyone have any idea why this is happening??

Verify game caches?
Do either you or the other players have any extra material addons? I mean those that add/change existing materials.
we just did a reinstall of garrysmod to see and i cleared the cache. its still doing the same thing . any other ideas
The only other thing I can think of is that your friend has DoD installed and Gmod is mounting it (thus why they are seeing the flag) and you don't have it mounted. Or maybe it's another game being mounted I don't know. But that could maybe be it?
but i see it when he uses the flag and he see it when i use it . the problem is we cant see it when the player itself cant see it . only a bullet material
