Hello, I am needing someone to set up a gmod server for me in the very near future. I will pay you if necessary, but if you want to be cool thats fine too :)
For further details email me at: lebruiser@gmail.com
What do you need exactly? There's already plenty of guides in how to setup servers, including a SteamCMD one on the Valve Wiki. Can you please be more specific?
I recommend forcing the directory you install in; if you don't you'll end up with names such as Counter-Strike ( Source )/cstrike, etc.. Some characters are known as Magic-Characters and can't be mounted with mount.cfg or you'll have issues. By forcing the directory, you'll end up with less issues!

I am just needing a private server so me and my friends can play games with eachother. I just dont want to set it up myself :P
With my guide, you run up to 2 batch files, copy and paste some text and then run a .bat file to run the server. It can't get any easier...
Download SteamCMD

And follow my instructions. Also, if you only want CS:S, GMOD, TF2 and DOD:S or so, then you only need to run the batch file which says always run this one last / gmod one. If you want HL2 content, then you'll need to run the first one but you'll need to log-in the first time you run it, if it doesn't continue just close it and run it again. Your login info will be stored the second time around.
It doesn't take long at all...

Just read the page Acecool linked; don't be lazy. It's so easy to setup a server now compared to the HLDS days.
