I need help on overriding HUD

Hi, I'm trying to use a premade Dark RP hud (since I'm too lazy to make my own, call me noob, yes haha) but I'm editing the HUD and I can't figure out on how to override the original HUD, I disabled the Dark RP HUD and I need to get rid of the HL2 default HUD. Anyone help me please?
