So I own a DarkRP server, and every couple of hours (it varies) the server instantly crashes with no lag before.
This is not ddos I am certain.
Any ideas?
p.s, I don't think its prop spam either
are you running an older verison of Stacker? or are you using the newest one on the workshop.
Sounds like someone's causing it to crash deliberately. Do you have an admin mod which logs what tools people use? (ULX does not do this).

Removed stacker.
Good, now post here if it continues to crash randomly.
Still crashing.
What tools are available to the players?

It seems we're suffering same shit. We're also getting regular crashes with hour to three hours interval
Are you guys using FAdmin (and presumably ULX alongside it)?

Yes I am

Well, we don't use FAdmin it just sits there. Everyone uses ULX.

Also whats your server name?
FAdmin should be logging what toolguns are used on what then. Try looking through the logs as I think a new log file is created every time the server crashes.

Where are these files?
They should be in /data/fadmin_logs.

Thanks for the help, but fadmin logs are messy and they're not created every time a server crashes. Instantly after a server crash I will have to look at them.
Sorry, I meant every time the server starts. Just the same as how DarkRP logs work. My bad. Try the end of the second most recent file.
Here's an example of what you're looking for:

Little off-topic but what's that "Spawned a Unknown"? Sounds like that shouldn't happen.
No idea - I was just doing tests for my new local testing server (since I switched to Linux I didn't have one).
I don't use FAdmin on my server as I have a custom admin mod, and it wasn't installed on my testing server at the time.
What addons do you have? There are many exploits available to crash servers. Normally to do with workshop addons etc.

I believe that's a bug I once reported to Falco.

I think that he should not show "unknown" but in fact show which MODEL is being spawned.
Basically:
John Doe spawned a ent_jeep with model models/car.mdl (vehicle)
or
John Doe spawned an unknown entity with model models/car.mdl (vehicle)
