I really enjoyed CoderHire while it was up.
I decided to create my own little system.
It's nearing an alpha release, and I want to know your thoughts about the design.
Enjoy! [IMG]http://www.aussieops.net/C4H/Job_View.png[/IMG] [IMG]http://www.aussieops.net/C4H/JobsPage.png[/IMG] [IMG]http://www.aussieops.net/C4H/Script_View.png[/IMG] [IMG]http://www.aussieops.net/C4H/ScriptsPage.png[/IMG] [IMG]http://www.aussieops.net/C4H/SubmitJob.png[/IMG]
That's a nice penis you have there. Would be a shame if it were to fall into my vagina.

The title needs to be padded more, it's too close to the edge.
Looks alright. Curious as to how you will be handling the hand over of money and scripts.

My system won't be. The users will still be in charge of that. Scripts is more of an advertisement area for coders.
To create a script, the user will be required to have a certain CoderRep, at the moment it's +3, but can be changeable.
Why not add a sort of middle man system to the site where it sends it to x's PayPal(site one) and then after the coder uploads the files, the money is sent to his? The pay pal Dev tools should allow half of that at least.

1. Would rely on the people trusting the owner (no offence bcool) which the people weren't willing to do with icoder.
2. Paypal is a cruel mistress. If the money flowed through on a regular basis the account would be locked down, and create more problems than it's worth.
Personally I think that the coder should be able to upload the script, and the client won't be able to download it, until they make a payment to the specified paypal account. So, the coder would provide the paypal address and the customer sends the payment there.
Once successful the ability to download opens up.

Is this even possible? how would the site know if someone made a payment to the coders paypal?
It could be the same. The user will send a half, then he get the code and then the other half will be sent..
And I know it's alpha but you should add an option to sell scripts.
eeew fixed-width wasting half my screen space
(but thank you for working on a replacement)
And you also should add a tag system with 2 tabs something like this, and when he want to create a job he will have to pick a tag first then you put the name, price etc

Same way that WHMCS scripts don't give you a product until it receives paypal confirmation. This sort of system is used with most sites that have a store or even a benefits system, hell I imagine Facepunch has it as well.
Sending it to the specific coder? A bit more interesting but not impossible, as eBay has that system with it as well.
Edit:
It would be done through the site. A paypal system linked to the site, but not going through the websites paypal, and just a direct pay.
Why is the navbar and footer aligned to the left side of the content div and not center aligned in general? Would look 10x better.
[editline]13th May 2013[/editline]
Also add padding to the main div, 6 or so pixels to the left and right would do wonders.
Looks great so fare!
But is it really going to be called nignog? Lol

That is his account username :v:
I like it, it is better than what i have up, keep at it.
also, will script selling be in a future update/already available?

So to get reputation I guess you have to add a job and the coder will give you rep.
But they can't create a job because their rep is 0.
So they can't create a job because of the rep and they can't get rep because they don't have a job added.

you only need +3 rep to submit a script, not to create a job. coders who do the jobs get rep, once that is +3, they can submit scripts.

I looked at this picture, but when I read it I understand something and now I read it again and I understood it.

Thanks! I'll be implementing these design fixes today.

Not a problem, that's why I really didn't want to include that sort of thing, but as you've said sending the money directly to the coder, it still requires a middle-man with the coder, holding the script or the link to the script, again relying on me, which I get people don't want to do.
Then I or some one else would have to check the script to make sure it does what it says it does. Again people don't want to do that. Maybe a higher coder rep or something would stop that but still.
People don't want to give there scrips out and I don't want to be the middle-man. If people are happy with it, I might reconsider.
People who want to buy the script may think it's a win-win, it's not, the person who made the script has to give it up so it can be validated, or if the site's hacked their link may be stolen w/e it's just not fair on the coder atm.

I plan on adding a tag system in, you already have a filter though so you could add them in your self in the title.

You could have the site check for such an instance once a customer tries to download the script, for instance. I believe you can do such things hooking into the PayPal API but... I'd think it'd have to be your account that you have access to, so it'd require a middle man account, I believe in theory. As I don't think it'd be too secure if anybody could look up anyone's transactions :) So the only viable way imo would be the site has a "middle man" paypal account, which would be viewed like an escrow account.
Paypal has a php API that sends your php-enabled webserver notifications of payments, and related information.

I couldn't bring my self to change the navbar to the center...
Please use [t] tags, not everyone has FullHD screen.

You could always provide the option. Anyway as long as the money isn't going through your account why does it matter? You won't really be a middle man, just let your website handle it.
You also don't have to look over every single file, just put a disclaimer saying people might scam. You could always give the option, to allow the employer to allow a middle man to inspect the file before it being a complete transaction, just add a notification to the job saying it will go through the process. Then get people to check the code (which I would do for free) to make sure it works.

Do this.

If that's what people want I'll include it later on.
[code]
[H] *Allow Job owner to view and accept job applicants
[H] *Moderator System -- A Report System, so people can report (Scripts / Jobs / Comments)
[M] *Home Page ( Your Current Jobs | Last 2 Previous Completed Jobs )
[/code]
Is what I need to complete before I let people go crazy.
[T]http://aussieops.net/C4H/Accept_Jobs.png[/T] Accepting Jobs, and you can see the report icon, the moderator system is still WIP. [QUOTE=Robotboy655;40638552]Please use [t] tags, not everyone has FullHD screen.[/QUOTE] [t] Tags don't work for me ...

They should be used instead of [img] tags, not with both at the same time.
Ok, so far it's working fine, I've had my self an array of people to test it out, now I want people to come in and try the system for them selves and comment on the feel of it.
The name is now Coder4Hire, [url]http://coder4hire.net/[/url].
Don't take every thing on the site seriously just yet, once I'm happy there's not glitches with the system, (breaches and what not), I'll wipe it clean and then you can start.
Using NSFW/Degrading script images will get you banned. Permanently.
