• Question about GMA files

When i open a GMA file with Notepad++, I find some understandable code, however that is always flooded with "NULL" black on white signs, and hundreds of random symbols. What is this? Is there a way to get rid of them? I have searched for an answer before but i could not find any, so I decided to ask.

Its like rar/zip file but own file format which has the addon content in it. You need to use gma extractor (google it) to get the files contents.
Or just drag'n'drop the .gma onto gmad.exe.
I am pretty new to Gmod Lua coding but not completely new, could you tell me what gmad.exe is?
you'l find it in the garrysmod Bin folder make a short cut of it and drop the shortcut into the addons folder then just drag and drop a .gma on to it for it to extract the .gma :)
steamapps\common\GarrysMod\bin\
