HUD Icons, where are they stored?

Where are the HUD icons stored so for example if I use this icon icon16/money_dollar.png which folder is it in because I have searched through my Garry's Mod folder and can't find it. I want to add my own custom icons which is why I need to find where they are being stored.

They are stored in garrysmod_dir.vpk files. You don't put anything in .vpk, you most likely want to put your icons into your addon, for example into "addons/uraddon/materials/myicons/myicon.png"
