• Tutotial for a beginner to make a video for a university subject

Good morning everyone. I've just bought the basic Gmod from Steam, because I want to create a short video (about 1 or 2 minutes) for a subject. Where can I find a tutorial that explains the basics of the Gmod, like create a room, animated a character, and make a video with all these things? Thanks in advance. Hope you can help me.
I think you want SFM ( Source Film Maker ) for that, not GMod. [editline]13th October 2014[/editline] If not, YouTube is where you get those video tutorials from.

I want to make a video animation, so perhaps I should use SFM (because the name suggests the thing I wanted to do..)
Because GMod is a sanbox game, and SFM is a tool made for making videos using Source engine assets. It's arguably easier to use SFM for this videos, with less initial preparations, since in GMod you'd need to download a bunch of mods to start. Plus SFM has a rendering feature that renders everything for you and you don't need to record and rerender with Vegas or w/e.

Where can I find some tutorials for SFM?
Google?
If the answer to all questions is "google", what is the purpose of the existence of a forum? I asked here because (perhaps) someone could suggest me if there is a reccomended website which contains guides to begin using this tool.
If such tutorials exist, you can find them on YouTube. Here's the SFM thread on this forum, forward your further questions to it: http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1407992 [editline]13th October 2014[/editline] Read the first post, it has a lot of useful info, including tutorials.
