So I'm still shopping around for a new server and I wanted to know what others think.
I can get a cheaper package with 5tb bandwidth each month which will make the total price $163/$179 (price changes due to if I go ssd or reg sata) or go unmetered making the server total price around $200/month

Depending on what you're running on your server and the amount of players etc. I don't think you would need more than 5TB bandwidth, although, other people, correct me if I'm wrong.
If you can provide a player count, server rates, any info on other services running on it, you can kind of get a rough estimate.
PH Server - 30 pop
Hide and Seek - 26 pop
Climb - 20 Pop (usually pretty empty though)
HeavyBalls - 20 pop (Usually always empty, might take down)
Extreme Football Throwdown - 30 pop (Not consistently populated but every no and then it will get about 20 people in there)
Cinema - 12 pop (only for our VIPs)
CS:GO - Competitive - 20 pop
CS:GO - Arms Race - 20 pop
TeamSpeak server - 512 slots (Usually around 12-30 people on)
XenForo forum with 422 members currently
Also we use a lot of stuff that just pulls from the Steam workshop also instead of just directly downloading from our server.
Assuming 128 active players for 12 hours / day for a 31 day period
Server rates assumed to be at 20000
128 * 20000 * 60 (seconds) * 60 (minutes) * 12 (hours) * 31 (days)
/ 1024 (KB) / 1024 (MB)
= 3,269,531 MB for game data alone
Teamspeak highly depends on codec choice, my server with around 5-10 people for 6-10 hours/day uses about 5GB each month on the highest quality voice codec, yours will probably be a lot higher than mine.. 15GB?
Can't really predict forum usage since it depends a lot on page sizes, hits, cache etc.. but shouldn't be too much. Can be anywhere from 500MB - 5GB, but should be negligible.
Going to estimate your usage to be just under 3TB on the low side and possibly up to 5TB on the high side.
You can obviously lower the server rates for stuff like cinema, climb and prop hunt and cut down on a chunk of bandwidth.
Note: This is a highly pessimistic estimate btw, you won't be likely to hit those numbers, even 3TB seems a bit high to me.
