Is it possible to have two of the same NPCs with differences on the same game?

Hello, I have two versions of the same NPC, one that fires one weapon, one that fires another. I want to have both of them in-game, fighting together with different artillery, but can't seem to figure it out. I've tried everything, changing the class, etc. Nothing works. I need a fix for this really badly, I've been trying to figure it out for a week and I'm lost.
