How do I avoid ppl to download server siden on join?

So, basicly, a long story short, a guy came on the server, said that he had the serverside and shit, and he proved it then i asked if he then knew the myslq password... He did..

So my question is: Did i enable something witch i shouldn't?

There's an exploit in the game, which is fixed in the next version of the game, that allows this.

Also one of your addons can allow people to do this.

Make sure that none of your workshop addons are untrustworthy and have exploits.

Set sv_allowdownload and sv_allowupload to 0.

[B]Make sure that you aren't uploading your addon's lua files to your FastDL server.[/B] Only models and materials need to be uploaded to FastDL. Any files uploaded there can be viewed by anyone joining your server, unless you set .htaccess to not allow that. Even then, they can download files if they have a direct link, so your best bet is to just make it secure and not put things on there that shouldn't even be there. If you're using a reputable host like NFOServers, this won't be an issue if you use their websync.
